Simple. Smart. Future-Ready Organisations.
On Friday, we witnessed something truly powerful.
Multiple perspectives came together—employees, stakeholders, and community leaders—to discuss an issue that transcends sectors, industries, and roles: wellbeing.
Hosted by Thrive Stars and Yakuway, the event brought forward a rich dialogue about what it really takes to create thriving humans, teams, organisations, and communities.
And one thing is clear: we are already on the path.
Our Thrive Stars & Yakuway lunch wasn’t just another event. It was a gathering of heart and wisdom. From the powerful Welcome to Country and song by Aunty Cheryl and Uncle Raymond Smith, to thought-provoking talks from leaders at Australian Treasury, Hunter Primary Care, University of Newcastle, Ethos Health, and others—this was a day of connection and forward motion.
We explored:
How wellbeing is deeply rooted in self-determination and cultural connection
The role of leadership and stewardship in shaping healthier futures
Practical ways individuals, organisations, and governments can work together to raise the collective wellbeing of our communities
New partnerships and friendships were formed—relationships that may one day benefit our children’s children.
This is what stewardship looks like. This is what thriving feels like.
If this conversation matters to you, let’s keep it going. The future is built by those willing to sit in circle and co-create.
